UPDATES & INFORMATION
Please check here for updates and information on the TYKE JAMBOREE

SCHEDULE: The schedule has been posted - if you see any conflicts within your group, please notify me by text 519-359-8119 (Tami) asap so I can make the necessary changes.

There have been changes made to the schedule earlier today - so please always double check the schedule the day before the event.

FORMAT: Divisions have 3, 4, and sometimes more in their division. Teams have been grouped within each division based on your feedback in the registration (ie "likely average" etc.) to achieve parity in most games.
3 team divisions: teams play a round robin format, playing each opponent twice. In the schedule you should see 4 games posted with your team name identified. (In our monthly 3on3 events, these 4 games are followed by a 'finals' game between Seed 1 and Seed 2, based on the standings after the scores are posted from the round robin games.)
4 team divisions: teams play a round robin format, playing each opponent once. You should only see your team name listed in 3 game slots. After round robin games are completed, scores are posted to achieve seedings within the 4 teams. A finals "A" game is then played between Seed 1 and Seed 2, and a finals "B" game between Seed 3 and Seed 4, which is the 4th game for all teams.
5 team divisions: teams play a round robin format, playing each opponent once, for a total of 4 games. You should see your team name listed in 4 game slots. Scores and seedings are posted, however, in the Jamboree there is no 5th game for a 'championship final'.
6 teams or greater: teams are scheduled to play a random 4 game schedule within the 7 teams. You should see your team name listed in 4 game slots. Pairings were random and, other than distance/travel time considerations, no weight was given to the pairings. Scores and seedings are posted, however, in the Jamboree there is no 5th game for a 'championship final'.

IMPORTANCE OF GAME #'S: Game #'s indicate the zone your team has been assigned to. This may change as we try to give an equal opportunity for teams to play in all 3 zones.
Examples:
Game# 85H indicates the game is played in the HOME zone
Game# 85N indicates the game is played in the NEUTRAL zone
Game# 85V indicates the game is played in the VISITOR/GUEST/AWAY zone

VENUE: StarTech.com Arena (formerly known as Bostwick Community Centre) London, ON
Pad A is only playing in HOME and VISITOR zones
Pad B is playing in HOME, NEUTRAL, and VISITOR zones. Bumper are used on both blue lines - and teams playing in the NEUTRAL zone game will use the PENALTY BOXES as their bench.

LIABILITY WAIVER: All players and bench staff are required to have an online LIABILITY WAIVER completed as a requirement of participation. This can be found from the organization menu > Liability Waiver. This waiver is valid for the entire 2022/23 season.

ROSTERS: Please submit the first and last names of all players, and your bench staff, in an email to: [email protected] - this list will be compared to the Liability Waivers received. Changes can be made to your roster up until the start of your first game.

QUESTIONS: If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out at any time. Texting is preferred at this point and, with the holiday season upon us, I will do my best to respond to text messages within an hour (except for messages received after 9pm.) My cell # is: 519-359-8119 cell/text.

GOING FORWARD:  We hope after playing in this TYKE JAMBOREE that you'll consider joining us in future upcoming events. We host 3on3 events ("one day fun day") every month on PDDAYS and other STATUTORY holidays, including our upcoming FAMILY DAY event on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2023. The format is identical to what you'll experience at the Jamboree. The registration fee for cross ice events remains at $350/team and the roster size is up to each team.
